The main aims of the Project be summerised as follows: Technically and optimised pressure vessels by using TMCP, QT-HSS and DUPLEX steels Create conditions for removal of unnecessary conservatism of existing rules by the use of modern reliability concepts Apply modern design by analysis and structural integrity models instead of experieced based recommendations Develop and propose recommodations for efficient design manufacturing and testing for the modern steels investigated
